Carpenter - Exhibit Technician:

Location: Aurora, CO 80011
Hours: M-F, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $25-26/hr., Depending on Experience
Experience: 1 year carpentry, woodwork, millwork, or related experience.

As a Carpenter - Exhibit Technician you will make an impact by fabricating large-scale exhibit environments.

Carpenter - Exhibit Technician Responsibilities:

• Select the appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task.
• Cut resources to size, as needed.
• Laminate: cut the laminate on a table saw, apply laminate with spray adhesive, cut with router and file cleanly.
• Effectively plan all tasks so that each project is completed on time.
• Gather elements of each cabinet and assemble the final product.
• Partner with Shop Foreman and Project Managers to ensure projects are completed to specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Assist with exhibit development and lead the carpentry aspect of the fabrication process.
• Construct carts and/or crates to ensure the safe transportation of exhibits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Carpenter - Exhibit Technician Requirements:

• Experience in finish carpentry - woodworking or cabinet making industry preferred.
• Previous exhibit house experience a plus.
• Possesses a strong knowledge of woodworking materials.
• Possess strong organizational and communication (in English) skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and strong mathematical skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Consistent attention to detail and a dedication to excellence.
