Our student-facing materials are created by a diverse pool of current college students and college advising professionals who compile college admissions and financial aid resources of the highest quality. Fair Opportunity Project's resources have been accessed by over 100,000 users across 204 countries, which has resulted in a Forbes 30 under 30 award and features in the New York Times, CNBC, Thrillist, the Harvard Ed Magazine, Study Breaks Magazine, and the Harvard Gazette. As a Junior Website Developer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving Fair Opportunity Project's digital presence. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in web development while contributing to a mission-driven organization dedicated to educational equity. You'll work closely with our team to enhance the functionality, accessibility, and user experience of our website. Through this position, you'll gain practical skills in front-end and back-end web development, UX/UI design, and website optimization-all while ensuring that students, educators, and families have seamless access to our free college resources.
