Salary: 102,000 - 189,000 USD per year Requirements:

• I have a minimum of 7 years of related experience in security and network environments, focusing on planning, engineering (hardware and software), and optimization.
• I possess over 3 years of recent experience in routing and switching within Cisco environments, along with strong knowledge of protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and IPv4/IPv6.
• I have at least 1 year of previous people/process management experience.
• I hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or have additional relevant professional experience.
• I am legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
• My ability to travel may be required up to 10% based on my work and the clients and industries I serve, including locations like Mexico, Costa Rica, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities:

• I drive for results by motivating teams and constantly focusing on key milestones. I maintain awareness of deliverables and keep my team focused on both short- and long-term goals.
• I promote standardization to ensure a single implementation and cohesive experience.
• I partner with vendors to gather critical information about future technologies and lead the production and maintenance of processes, procedures, operational, and architectural documentation.
• I am accountable for execution in accordance with established standards, procedures, and processes.
• I own cross-functional support for the development and implementation of systems.
• I ensure the optimization and performance of hardware, software, and virtual infrastructure, recommending upgrades and capacity planning for future customer needs.
• I provide third-level support to the Operations Groups and monitor the Service Desk system, performing troubleshooting, fault isolation, and recovery of failed network components.
• I participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and other maintenance activities as necessary.
• I provide escalations for outstanding IT management issues and foster a positive working relationship with internal and external clients.

Preferred qualifications include expertise in Cisco Certified Internetwork Routing and Switching, proficiency in software-defined WAN (SD-WAN), secure access service edge (SASE), automation, programming/scripting languages (such as Python and Ansible), and orchestration.

I value candidates with advanced knowledge in cybersecurity, cloud, compute, and storage technologies, along with experience in tools like InfoBlox, NetBrain, SolarWinds, and DNA-C. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and experience with agile methodology are essential.

I am looking for candidates who can effectively communicate strategic information, security topics, policies, standards, and risk-related concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels. The ability to guide a global team in a matrix environment and manage confidential information sensitively is critical. Additionally, holding a CCNP or CCIE certification is considered a plus.

Compensation for this position will range from $102,000 to $189,000, depending on various factors such as skills, experience, and other organizational needs. I also offer potential eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance.
