House of Wonder is a pioneering coffee shop experience for young families, where parents can relax with high-quality coffee and good food while their children explore a thoughtfully designed play space. Our mission is to build a global chain of family-oriented coffee shops rooted in Danish culture, focusing on creating meaningful, shared experiences for both parents and kids. Our first locations are opening in Brooklyn and Copenhagen, setting the foundation for this unique concept that values both independent play and community connection.
House of Wonder is founded by two seasoned entrepreneurs with multiple successful business exits, and we are committed to building a brand that redefines family spaces in cities worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
As the general manager of House of Wonder's first location in Brooklyn, you will manage the location from end-to-end. You will be in charge of hiring baristas and other staff, training, setting schedules and making sure everything is in stock and organized.
You will:
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless experience for both parents and children
Recruit, train, and manage a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to maintain a well-stocked, high-quality offering
Collaborate with founders to shape customer experience and implement operational processes
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for all ages
Who You Are
You have experience managing a coffee shop, café, or similar high-service environment
You possess strong leadership skills and enjoy building and training a team
You’re detail-oriented and committed to maintaining quality, cleanliness, and efficiency
You’re excited about joining a growing company and bringing a new concept to life
You’re proactive, organized, and comfortable with multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
Experience in family-friendly or hospitality spaces is a plus
