The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.We are looking for a Creative Director Art Director with a strong art direction background to join our Brand Creative team. This role will report to the Executive Creative Director and manage a team of creatives. The right candidate is passionate and thoughtful about strategic ideas, detail-oriented from concepting to final delivery, a creative problem solver, and an advocate of top-tier creative across all mediums. You'll be applying storytelling, tone of voice, and compelling language to develop and lead creative work to effectively communicate and be best-in-class. Responsibilities: Partner daily with cross-functional team members including Marketers, Producers, Program Managers, Executive Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, and Designers Ability to oversee, lead, and create conceptual work that is original and adheres to brand guidelines Manage large creative production projects from multiple teams, overseeing creative from development through production Inspire and embrace challenges and innovative thinking to push the brand forward Ensure the highest quality of craft in all aspects of execution while delivering within timeline and budget Stay ahead of advertising trends, infusing creativity and a contemporary perspective to guide our work Build trust and collaborate with partners through the creative process while confidently leading creatives on multiple projects simultaneously Open to being a hands-on creative and independent contributor, actively participating in the creative process and delivering high-quality work Foster and develop creative members of the team and lead by example QualificationsBasic Qualifications:BA/BS degree in graphic design, advertising, art direction, or equivalent work experience 10+ years of experience in the creative industry 2+ years of experience managing direct reports or formally managing/mentoring other creatives work.Portfolio showcasing a wide range of high quality conceptual and storytelling workPreferred Qualifications: Experience with combining strong conceptual, strategic, and art direction abilities to produce captivating work and lead creative teams Exceptional at taking a brief and turning it into a compelling idea to create authentic work that resonates with the audience Comfortable providing feedback on creative work in a compassionate wayFluent in Adobe Creative Suite and G-Suite A social-first thinker, keeping a pulse on the latest social platform trends and technologies Impeccable eye for detail, craft, and design History of facilitating, presenting to, and helping guide senior leadership partners Self-motivated, flexible and process-driven with the ability to accept and build on feedback Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and shift quickly from one project to the next to ensure projects are delivered on time Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive independently and as a team member in a creative, friendly, and fast-paced remote environment Working knowledge of After Effects and ability to direct motion designSuggested Skills:Creative direction and conceptual thinkingLeadership and team ManagementStorytellingCreative project managementIndustry and trend awarenessLinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $144,000-$224,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
