Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining data in our computer systems and databases. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount, as you will work with various forms of data including customer information, inventory records, and financial details. 

Responsibilities

• Inputting and updating data into the company database accurately and efficiently.
• Verifying the accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents and making corrections as necessary.
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
• Organizing and filing relevant documents as needed to support data entry tasks.
• Generating and delivering regular reports on data entry processes and outcomes to management.
• Assisting in data cleanup efforts to ensure all entries are accurate and up to date

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Proficient in typing and data entry, with a high level of speed and accuracy, preferably 50 words per minute or more.
• Familiarity with database management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Salary

$850 - $1100 /week
