Summary: This role is responsible for implementing, coordinating, and monitoring safety and health programs and for developing, implementing and monitoring initiatives to engage employees in the safety and health programs.Essential Functions:

• Maintains safety management programs to ensure compliance and objectives.
• Contributes to initiatives to engage employees in the safety and health programs
• Ensures employees are trained in Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) programs. Utilizes support structure that fosters employee engagement.
• Performs hazard risk analysis, determination of effective controls and risk mitigation.
• Contributes to safety incident investigation teams to determine root cause, corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinates ergonomic, injury case management and return to work programs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
• 2+ years of EH&S experience
• Experience implementing and monitoring safety programs in manufacturing environment
