Job Description:

Affinius Capital is seeking to hire Analysts to join its equity investment team based in New York. The investment team oversees investments for Affinius Capitals equity investment vehicles including its opportunistic equity and other funds. The investment professional will be involved in all aspects of the underwriting, diligence, and closing of new investments as well as business plan execution for the assets in Affinius Capitals existing portfolio of investments.

Essential Duties:

  • Evaluating and underwriting prospective investment opportunities for Affinius Capitals equity funds.
  • Executing and closing transactions involving various property types.
  • Generating financial analysis and investment committee memoranda detailing investment rationale, execution risks, and prospective returns.
  • Performing acquisition due diligence, including completing market analysis and coordinating with third party service providers.
  • Assisting in the implementation of business plans, including leasing, financing, disposition, and ongoing portfolio surveillance.
  • Performing other additional duties, as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree with 1-2 years in investment banking, real estate private equity, real estate finance, brokerage or advisory firm.
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for real estate.
  • Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Team player who can work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); Knowledge of Argus Enterprise is preferred but not required.
  • Must be willing to work on-site full-time.
  • Qualifications may warrant placement in different job title.

As required by the New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL), Affinius Capital is including a good faith estimate for this role, with a starting annual base salary range of $100,000. The base salary is just one component of the positions compensation package. Employees may also be eligible to participate in Affinius Capitals discretionary Annual Bonus program and other employee benefit programs, subject to the specific terms and eligibility requirements of such programs.
