Our client, a leader in the medical supply industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the logistics department supporting efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Material Handler/ Forklift Operator

Location: Covington, GA

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour 

What's the Job?

• Safely and accurately load and unload products within the distribution center.
• Process customer orders by scanning barcodes, picking, packing, and labeling boxes.
• Maintain an organized work area and adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Operate material handling equipment, MUST be able to operate BOTH Cherry Pickers and Reach Trucks, safely and efficiently .
• Assist in maintaining the security and cleanliness of the warehouse environment.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma, GED, or 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (MHE) such as Order Pickers and Reach Trucks.
• Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision in a metrics-driven environment.
• Must be able to obtain Forklift Certification to meet guidelines.
