Shift Details: (7:00AM - 7:30PM OR 7:00PM – 7:30AM)

DESCRIPTION:

Your Role:
Technicians work on systems and maintain the supply of chemicals and gases to a semiconductor manufacturing environment that makes the chips used in electronic devices such as Smart Phones, LEDs, and Flat Screen TV's
Technicians will be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical or gas distribution systems, with duties including:
Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers
Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative or repair maintenance
Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs
Support of quality systems

Physical Attributes:
Occasionally climbing ladders (utilizing fall protection)
In some cases, Technicians must put on a Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator (this type of respirator provides air from a cylinder through a mask connected to the cylinder) while working with chemicals (approx. 10-15 minutes
Basic lifting (up to 40lbs)
Bending of the knees and overhead reaching
PPE made available to workers includes safety glasses, hard hats, ear plugs, chemical aprons, gloves, etc.
Workers will be provided with vouchers to purchase safety boots, which they are required to wear

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in maintenance or as an equipment technician or in a mechanical or electronic environment is a plus
Previous experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment is helpful
Military training is welcomed
Strong technical aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Proficient with MS Office Suite #ZR
