Job Description

Midway Animal Hospital is looking for a Groomer to join our team! We are a multi-doctor, award-winning, small animal hospital that is well respected in our community and has proudly served Alpharetta for years.

This is a full-time role comprised of a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday schedule.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Groomers are responsible for all grooming services, from start to finish: Bathing, drying, grooming/hair cutting as requested by the client, styling, brush out, flea treatments, clipping/filing nails, gland expression, de-matting, ear hair removal, brushing teeth and cleaning up
• Keeping your area clean throughout the day and at the end of the shift
• Engaging with customers to ensure their requests are understood
• Evaluating the condition of the pet and addressing any styling/grooming concerns
• Must have prior knowledge and comfortability working with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
• Must have prior knowledge of breed grooming standards
• A certificate in grooming is a plus (a portfolio is required)

Midway Animal Hospital is an AHHA-Accredited and Fear-Free clinic that has been voted best of North Atlanta and Neighborhood Favorite multiple consecutive years in a row! We have 5 veterinarians (most are UGA grads - Go Dawgs!) and a wonderful support team, including 2 RVTs, that works well together and has a family-like bond. We typically perform surgeries four days a week, with our doctors seeing 3-4 procedures each day in addition to 3 dentals.
