MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED
and five years full-time, wage-earning experience in a stand-alone
desktop computer, network, mainframe, or communications enviornment to
include at least three of the following functions: installing, programming,
configuring, troubleshooting, repairing, or utilizing software
applications and computer-related hardware.

Ninety semester hours from a college or university accredited by an
organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation
(CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and two
years full time, wage-earning experience in a stand-alone desktop computer,
network, mainframe, or communications enviornment to include at least three of
the following functions: installing, programming, configuring, troubleshooting,
repairing, or utilizing software applications and computer-related hardware.

Sixty semester hours from a college or university accredited by an
organization recognized by the CHEA or by the USDE and three
years full time, wage-earning experience in a stand-alone desktop computer,
network, mainframe, or communications enviornment to include at least three of
the following functions: installing, programming, configuring, troubleshootin
repairing, or utilizing software applications and computer-related hardware.

Thirty semester hours from a college or university accredited by an
organization recognized by the CHEA or by the USDE and four
years full time, wage-earning experience in a stand-alone desktop computer,
network, mainframe, or communications enviornment to include at least three of
the following functions: installing, programming, configuring, troubleshootin
repairing, or utilizing software applications and computer-related hardware.

Current Computing Technology Industry Association (Comp TIA) A+ certification
and four years full-time, wage-earning experience in a stand-alone desktop
computer, network, mainframe, or communications enviornment to include at
least three of the following functions: installing, programming, configuring,
troubleshooting, repairing, or utilizing software applications and
computer-related hardware.
2. Experience in information technology, telecommunications, wireless
communications, or a computer-related help desk or computer-related
customer service enviornment.
3. Experience in current version of Windows operating system providing
technical support and maintenance of Microsoft Office Suite or
equivalent to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation
software programs.
4. Experience in the supervision of employees preferred.
**The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will be
$4,801.16.**
