SPIRE Academy is a world-class boarding school and training facility that combines academics, technology, and elite sports development. Our campus is home to a diverse student-athlete community, and we are looking for a dedicated IT Assistant to help keep our technology running smoothly.

We are seeking an IT Assistant to provide hands-on technical support across our campus, including academic and administrative offices, dormitories, and athletic facilities. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of IT who is eager to learn and grow. You will work with a range of technology, from standard office equipment to specialized sports timing systems. Training will be provided for our unique systems, but you should have basic IT troubleshooting skills and a willingness to problem-solve.

• Provide technical support for staff, students, and faculty on hardware, software, and network issues.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot office technology , including computers, printers, projectors, and conference room equipment.
• Assist in maintaining campus-wide Wi-Fi and network connectivity .
• Learn and support sports timing systems and other technology used in our training facilities.
• Help manage user accounts, passwords, and basic security settings .
• Work closely with the IT team to ensure smooth operations of campus technology .
• Maintain inventory and documentation for IT equipment.
• Support AV and live streaming needs for campus events.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, networks, and common software applications .
• Familiarity with troubleshooting IT issues , including hardware and software problems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn new systems and technologies , especially related to sports tech.
• Excellent communication skills to assist non-technical users.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.

• Experience with basic networking (Wi-Fi troubleshooting, IP configurations, etc.) .
• Familiarity with AV equipment and event tech .
• Interest in sports technology and timing systems .
