Our client, a major international food processing company in Irvine, CA is looking for an experienced Japanese Bilingual Product Development specialist.

Job Description:
・Plan, develop, and execute new and existing products in alignment with consumer and market trends as well as company strategy.
・Manage new product development projects from concept through post-launch analysis, including market research, concept development, segmentation-targeting-positioning (STP) analysis, project timeline management, package design, and profit/loss analysis.
・Lead the development and execution of promotional and seasonal products tailored to specific retail channels.
・Develop creative briefs and collaborate with package designers and packaging vendors to create visually appealing packaging that aligns with brand identity and consumer preferences.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
・Bachelor’s degree required.
・Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development or product marketing within the food industry.
・At least 3 years of experience in launching new products from concept to commercialization.
・Strong knowledge of FDA labeling requirements.
・Basic understanding of GS1 Standards.
・Japanese fluency is required.
・Occasional business travel (approximately 3–4 times per year).
