SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provides support to the director and daily direction and guidance to the staff. Facilitates the workflow through the department to ensure optimal patient throughput in a safe and efficient manner. Responsible for ensuring OR Aide and Periop Support Associate supplies and equipment are at appropriate par levels and in proper working condition to support clinical care. Provides guidance and monitors quality of work assignments for OR Aides and Periop Support Associates. Responds to requests from customers and actively participates in a continuous quality improvement process.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Associate's Degree or equivalent.
Minimum of three (3) years related experience in anesthesia, biomedical, business/management, or healthcare.
Previous supervisory/management experience is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Experience in managing a Union environment is preferred.
