Marketing Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Operations Manager to enhance our marketing performance, drive data-driven insights, and optimize our multi-channel marketing strategy. As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will lead and execute our marketing operations strategy to ensure seamless and efficient marketing processes. This role is central to our marketing organization, focusing on marketing automation, omni-channel marketing, reporting, website management, SEO and analytics. You will be responsible for maximizing campaign effectiveness, delivering actionable insights, and driving improvements in marketing performance.

Our cost-effective, plug-and-play products empower plants of all sizes to conduct predictive and preventative maintenance on mission-critical and secondary equipment in order to maximize uptime. (I.e. We help with things like getting your Prime packages to you faster!)

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Location: Must live in Cincinnati metro area (or be willing to relocate)

Office Location: Queens Gate area of Cincinnati, OH

Onsite Requirements: Onsite; Remote flexibility as needed

Job Description

This position will give you the opportunity to work on:

1. Marketing Automation:

  • Manage and optimize our marketing automation platform (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) to streamline campaign execution.
  • Build and maintain automated marketing workflows, including lead scoring, nurturing, segmentation, and multi-touch attribution.
  • Collaborate with marketing team members, sales and agency partners to ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on schedule.

2. Omni-Channel Marketing:

  • Develop and execute an omni-channel marketing strategy across email, social media, paid media, web, and other digital channels.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, service and support) to align messaging and optimize the customer journey across touchpoints.
  • Test and optimize campaigns to enhance engagement and conversion rates.

3. Website Management and SEO:

  • Oversee the management and continuous optimization of the company website, ensuring it aligns with brand messaging and supports lead generation.
  • Work with web developers and content creators to maintain a user-friendly website experience with clear navigation, calls-to-action, and optimized landing pages.
  • Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive traffic, and enhance online visibility.
  • Monitor website analytics to assess SEO performance, make data-driven recommendations, and implement changes to boost search engine rankings.

4. Reporting and Analytics:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reporting frameworks to track marketing performance across channels.
  • Analyze data to derive insights and make recommendations to improve marketing efficiency, lead generation, and pipeline growth.
  • Create regular reports and dashboards to communicate results and insights to stakeholders.

5. Database Management and Segmentation:

  • Oversee the quality and accuracy of the marketing database, including lead scoring, data hygiene, and segmentation.
  • Implement processes to ensure data is regularly cleaned, updated, and segmented for targeted campaigns.

6. Process Improvement and Technology Management:

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance marketing processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and scalability through tools and automation.
  • Manage relationships with marketing technology vendors and ensure tools are being utilized effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in marketing operations to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.

7. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with sales, product, and finance teams to ensure alignment on campaign objectives, lead flow, and reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing insights, campaign updates, and data-driven recommendations.
Requirements:

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing operations, preferably within a SaaS, technology, or other B2B-focused organization.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot (and other) marketing automation and CRM platforms
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEM Rush, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to drive insights and decision-making.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of omni-channel marketing tactics and best practices.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
