Achieve Orthopedic Manual Therapy is a small, privately-owned physical therapy clinic in Park Ridge, IL dedicated to providing personalized and compassionate care to our patients. We pride ourselves on our supportive and patient-focused environment. We are seeking a team-oriented individual to join our clinic as an Office Manager. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless operation of our clinic while upholding our commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Management:

  • Schedule and manage patient appointments.

  • Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.

  • Collect patient co-pays and balances.

  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

• Financial Management:

  • Manage billing and collections processes.

  • Prepare and submit insurance claims.

  • Maintain accurate patient and financial records.

  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable.

• Office Administration:

  • Manage office supplies and equipment.

  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs for the clinic.

  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment.

  • Handle general office tasks, such as answering phones, greeting patients, and filing.

• Clinic Operations:

  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient operations.

  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred; additional compensation will be considered for candidates who have previous medical billing experience.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, electronic health records).

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy.

• Strong team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.

• Ability to build rapport with patients and staff.

• Passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.
