Key Details: - Pay: $55,000 - 65,000/year DOE
- Benefits & Perks: Employer-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance; PTO, 10 paid holidays, generous company-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), 401k with 6% match, and flexible hybrid working schedule
- Location: 7525 NE Ambassador Place, Portland, OR - this position is primarily remote with the preference that the employee will reside in the Portland, OR metro area for onsite work as needed
- Schedule: M - F, full-time

Who You Are: You are a Motion Graphics Designer and Animator! You don't have to have the sexiest design job in your network, and you're curious or passionate about energy, utilities, and access to these resources. You have a clean aesthetic and a knack for helping to educate others on complex topics.
A typical day will consist of:
- Working with our creative team to develop animated motion graphics that reflect complex engineering issues for video courses on the North American Electric Power Grid.
- Conceptualize, develop, and animate:
- Compelling educational texts, such as key-terms, definitions, extended lists, and process summaries.
- Interactive maps, industry-specific icons, and other power-related imagery.
- Motion assets for corporate videos, helping explain our organization's expanding territories, products, and brand identity.
Position Overview: We are seeking a Motion Graphic Designer/Animator to elevate our content. Our in-house creative team is looking for a collaborative professional who can work creatively within the constructs of our corporate brand, helping develop visual representations of complex engineering concepts for online video courses. In addition to training content, this position will also support identity branding, marketing, social media content, business development proposals, and other corporate video requirements. Communication and collaboration with all our divisions (outside creative) is expected. Our team affords you the opportunity to flex creative muscles, sustaining and enhancing our well-established products.
Other qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in design and/or post-production, qualified candidates with an art related associates degree or relatable experience are also encouraged to apply.
- 3-5 years of motion graphics design, animation, and postproduction work in a professional setting. Applicant should have demonstrated proficiency with tools required for the job.
- Adobe CC: After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere
- Final Cut Pro X, Motion
- Microsoft Suite
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and references
