Title: Product Manager for Development & Reliability

Role Type: 6 months contract with possibility of full-time hire

Location : Remote

Job Purpose

Our Client is looking or a Product Manager for Development & Reliability. The purpose of the Product Manager for People role is to drive the development and success of a software product by defining its vision, strategy, and roadmap. The Product Manager works cross-functionally to define requirements, prioritize features, manage the product lifecycle, and ensure that products meet both customer needs and business objectives.

Role Objective:

  • Mission: To enable efficient and high-quality development by all Client people
  • Initial Focus: IT development and monitoring
  • Key Platforms: Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence…), Monitoring Tools, .NET, Power Apps, Power Automate

Key Accountabilities / Deliverables

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (engineering, lines of business, data, compliance, PMO) to define clear product requirements.
  • Define requirements leveraging Agile constructs (epics/features/stories)
  • Mitigate risk by planning and implementing discovery
  • Prioritize features and tasks based on impact and resources.
  • Drive the development process, ensuring timely and successful product releases.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings.
  • Monitor key product metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products

Technical Knowledge and Understanding

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven, curious, hands-on
  • Strong understanding of software development, SaaS solutions, integrations and cloud hosting

Experience

  • 5+ years working in Agile development model
  • 3+ years software product management
  • Experience with Silicon Valley Product Group (SVPG) methodologies a plus
  • Insurance or banking industry experience preferred
