Roles and Responsibilities

Create and manage test plans, cases, and scripts based on project requirements, and document defects and areas for improvement.
Perform functional, end-to-end, and regression testing to ensure quality, reliability, and accessibility of applications.
Develop and maintain accessibility testing standards, scripts, and playbooks for development teams.
Work with business analysts, clients, and development teams to provide feedback and support accessibility-related solutions.
Act as an expert for web and mobile accessibility testing, utilizing assistive technologies and accessibility tools.
Provide project-based training on ADA compliance and foster innovation through accessibility awareness.
Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing using tools like WAVE, JAWS, axe, and others to ensure compliance with WCAG and ADA standards.

Required skills set

Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification. (Highly desired)
UAT methodologies to ensure digital product adheres to enterprise conformance levels (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 level AA) within agile projects (5yrs)
In-depth, working knowledge of ADA tools and standards for accessibility testing (WAVE, JAWS, axe, ANDI, and other automated tools or applications).
Experience as a Quality Analyst with demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance methodology and practices. (7yrs)
Hands-on experience with automated test tools and test management tools like Jira or GitLab.
Effectively utilize assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover, TalkBack, and other manual and automated testing tools.
Effectively utilize assistive technologies and other manual and automated testing tools across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems.
