Restaurant Host Job Summary: We are seeking an
outgoing, friendly, and organized individual to join the team at Vitense Golfland as a
Restaurant Host for Babes at Vitense. The Host will be the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. This role involves welcoming guests, managing waitlists, coordinating seating arrangements, and assisting with general front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will excel in
communication and customer service, providing a warm and professional presence.
Key Responsibilities: Greeting & Seating: - Welcome guests warmly and ensure a positive first impression.
- Escort guests to their tables and manage table rotation to balance the floor.
- Offer menus and inform guests about specials or promotions.
Reservations & Waitlist Management: - Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods and provide accurate wait-time estimates.
- Communicate effectively with guests about table availability.
Customer Service: - Provide excellent guest service by addressing inquiries, special requests, or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with coordinating special events or large group bookings as needed.
Front Desk Operations: - Address reservation inquiries and to-go orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized host station and lobby area.
Team Communication: - Coordinate with the serving, bartending, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Communicate guest preferences or special accommodations to the appropriate staff members.
Additional Duties: - Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as refilling menus and maintaining cleanliness at the front of house.
- Support servers and other team members as needed to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications: - Previous experience as a host, receptionist, or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
