WHAT CAN RELIAS OFFER YOU?
As a Sales Trainer, your top priority will be giving Relias sales professionals the tools, skills and knowledge they need to be effective in their roles as part of the Sales organization. The Sales Trainer will work with the Director of Enablement to identify any issues with training methods and make suggestions for improvements as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Conduct training for new and current sales associates and work with sales leadership to develop individualized training plans
• Observe sales encounters and determine the training needs for individuals and/or vertical teams in both the SMB/MM and Enterprise sales divisions
• Improve training techniques when needed to meet the unique demands of certain verticals and/or the corporate sales market at large
• Schedule orientations and related training events for individuals and teams
• Become familiar with/and eventually able to speak to all the steps of the Sales Call Process utilized at Relias
• Stay up to date on current market trends and the changing demands of the corporate sales environment
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
• Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning
• Ability to effectively conduct needs analysis, define learning objectives, develop training materials and exercises, deliver training and monitor results of training initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with an e-learning platform as a mode of training delivery
• Clear understanding of solution selling techniques
• Clear and motivating communicator
• Ability to communicate with varying personality types
• Effective presentation and workshop facilitation skills
• Self-starter with ability to see projects through to completion
• Team-player and collaborative in nature
• Demonstrates ability to manage time and workflow
• Ability to operate in a metrics driven, goal-oriented environment
• 3+ years’ experience in a sales environment
• 2+ years’ experience in sales training role in a technology company
• Bachelor’s Degree
IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
• 5+ years’ experience in a sales environment
• 3+ years’ experience in sales training role in a technology company
• Knowledge of leading sales methodology practices (i.e. Solution Selling, Strategic Selling, etc.)

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:
Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30 days/quarter.
