What We Are Looking For

We are seeking to appoint a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our technical team. As a SOC Analyst, you will play a vital role in helping to build out the safeguarding of our organization's information systems. You will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our data while supporting the overall cybersecurity strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools and other monitoring systems.
• Identify and analyze potential security threats and vulnerabilities in real time.
• Proactively analyze phishing attempts
• Respond to security incidents by conducting initial investigations, containing threats, and coordinating remediation efforts.
• Document incidents and provide detailed reports on findings and actions taken.
• Conduct research and analysis on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security incidents.
• Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to incorporate insights into security operations
• Assist with the incident response process, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery from security incidents.
• Prepare reports on security trends, incidents, and recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of security processes and incidents for compliance and improvement purposes.
• Work closely with IT and other security teams to coordinate responses and share insights on emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

What Youll Need:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on SOC operations and incident response.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g. CrowdStrike, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) and network security technologies
• Understanding of network protocols, security architectures, and incident response methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills
• Experience with log analysis from multiple sources

What We Offer

We dont think money is everything, but we know it is an important part of your decision to apply for a role. This position has a salary range of $110,000 - 120,000, determined by factors such as location, relevant experience, skills, and certifications.
