Clinical Fellow - Early Intervention

Homes and daycares (ages 3 -5)
Full time (W2) 19 billable hours
Get mentored by experienced and supportive Clinical Directors and CF Supervisors
Shadowing opportunities with speech language pathologists (SLP), occupational therapist (OT), physical therapists (PT), and Early Childhood Educators (ECE)

Highest level of clinical support with consistent mentoring and clinical meetings with designated Clinical Fellowship Supervisor, Clinical Director, and Lead Therapist
Free trainings to help you understand your role as a parent coach in early intervention in both family and school-based services
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide a comprehensive service and support plan including IFSP/IEP goals for children ages 0-5
Adhere to frequency, duration and appropriate treatment guidelines as indicated.
Provide comprehensive treatment to infants and toddlers utilizing modalities to promote developmental growth in natural environments.
Documentchildren's progress on session notes and during quarterly/annual meetings, as dictated by county and state guidelines as well as barriers to treatment sessions.
Modify treatment goals as indicated, on appropriate forms and in a timely manner.
Document plans and information needed for team meetings.
Attend and participate in meetings as indicated by state and local program requirements.
Cover other therapist's patient caseload during absence as necessary.
Maintain professional relationships with co-workers, patients and patient family's image at all times.
Adhere to productivity requirements, complete productivity reports, and submit in a timely manner.
Maintain records of clinical hours acquired each week during each portion of the CFY as indicated by ASHA.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited university with an MA, or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA.
Experience in Early Intervention preferred.
Physical Demands:
Employee should be able to transfer clients, lift weights, transport clients and perform treatment onfloors, schools, home, and playgrounds as needed to incorporate the child's natural learning environment. Employees should be knowledgeable in and exercise good body mechanics during client's treatment.
