Our private pediatric clinic has expanded, and we are seeking an energetic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to be a part of our wonderful pediatric therapy team!

*Responsibilities:*

* Monitor and assess patient rehabilitative programs
* Convey treatment results and patient progress to relevant parties
* Individual patient evaluations and assessments
* Timely documentation and billing
* Organize and update patient records
* Maintain a clean and healthy environment

The ideal candidate will perform therapy with a play-based approach, incorporating movement and gym activities into their therapy strategies. Experience with SOS Approach to Feeding, Floor-time Approach, Sensory Integration, Primitive Reflexes or other pediatric specialties highly preferred.

*Qualifications:*

* Methuen Pediatric Therapy is willing to provide a clinical fellowship experience for the right candidate.
* Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited university
* Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Health Professionals
* Can accommodate a CFY
* Certification in CPR and First Aid, including a program that specifically addresses treatment of infants and toddlers
* Demonstrated interest in pediatrics and professional development
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Must be able to climb, stoop, get up and down from floors, sit on floors for varying periods of time, reach with hands and arms as well a lift and move up to 50 pounds
* Must have an acceptable CORI, SORI, DPPC and National Fingerprint Check

*For the FULL-time position:*

* Monday - Thursday schedule (8am – 7pm) 1 hour lunch break
* FRIDAY'S OFF

Methuen Pediatric Therapy, LLC is a privately owned and operated pediatric therapy clinic that caters to the amazing children of northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. We specialize in phenomenal care in occupational, and speech therapy. We provide neurological, motor and sensory-based treatment promoting independence, community integration, fine/gross motor skill development, communication and social skill development.

Our therapist-operated clinic employs a brilliant group of individuals committed to providing the highest quality of therapy to children with a variety of disabilities and needs. We provide evaluations and treatment for children of all ages living with the following:

*Speech and Language:*
Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Articulation/Phonological Disorder, Unspecified Developmental Delay of Speech and Language, Mixed Expressive and Receptive Language Disorder, Speech Apraxia, Childhood Aphasia, Expressive Language Disorder, Fluency Disorder, Social Pragmatic Communication Disorder, S/L delay due to hearing loss

Licensure: Must have an active Massachusetts License

*Feeding Therapy:*
Autism, Feeding Difficulties, Dysphagia, Oral Motor Delay
