Are you passionate about providing top-notch customer service and ensuring smooth logistics operations? We're looking for a Customer Service & Tracking Representative to join our team and help customers manage their shipments with efficiency and care. In this role, you'll be a vital part of the logistics process, ensuring shipments are tracked, delivered on time, and any issues are promptly resolved.
What You'll Do:
Monitor and track shipments in real time, escalating any issues that fall outside of standard tracking processes.
Work closely with the Customer Service and Dispatch teams to address potential delays or disruptions.
Ensure all shipments meet pick-up and delivery expectations based on customer requirements.
Maintain and update shipment details in the Transportation System Management database.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to shipments.
Respond to customer emails and voicemails in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with the Operations Supply Chain Compliance Manager to improve processes continuously.
Handle incoming customer inquiries via email and web portal, ensuring shipments are accurately entered into the system.
Communicate important, time-sensitive information efficiently and effectively.
Escalate shipment delays or other issues as needed.
Provide professional, service-oriented interactions with customers.
Ensure all internal processes align with company quality and operational procedures.
Manage carrier communications, ensuring shipment details are accurately updated in the system.
Follow security procedures related to shipment tracking.
Participate in daily meetings with the Tracking Supervisor for updates and important announcements.
Attend onsite training and required in-person meetings as needed.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of experience in the transportation/logistics industry preferred.
Work Environment & Requirements:
This is a remote position, primarily working from home.
Requires extended time working on a computer and phone.
Must be available for occasional onsite training and meetings.
