HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a travel job in Astoria, New York.
Job Description & RequirementsJob Responsibilities:\n •\tPerform compounding and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.\n•\tManage inventory control using RF scanners and automated inventory systems.\n•\tOversee sterile processing and maintain sterility in the IV room.\n•\tUtilize pharmacy dispensing systems for accurate medication distribution.\n•\tEnsure compliance with DSCSA (Drug Supply Chain Security Act) regulations.\n•\tMaintain and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR) as required.\n•\tAdhere to all federal, state, and local regulations governing pharmacy operations.\n•\tCollaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management.\n\nTechnical Skills:\n•\tExperience with pharmacy dispensing systems.\n•\tKnowledge of sterile processing and IV room procedures.\n•\tExpertise in compounding, RF scanner inventory, automated inventory control, and automated warehouse management.\n•\tAdditional Requirements: Must have prior experience in warehouse and DSCSA compliance.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n•\tMinimum Degree Required: Professional (J.D., M.D., D.D.S. or Pharm. D.)\n•\tExperience: Minimum 1 year in a pharmacy setting.\n•\tLicense: Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist issued by NYSED (New York State Education Department).
